Cluj Christmas Market

I’ve always loved winter. Even though the weather tends to be rainy, rather than snowy, I still like the festive season. It just brings a certain energy and atmosphere to everywhere I go. One of the festive places I’ve visited is the Cluj Christmas Market, which is really nice to spend some time at.

A walk in the park.

Every Wednesday we’ve got physical education classes, which are held in the Iuliu Hategan Park; about half an hour away from the dorm. Today the weather was to my liking so I decided to snap a picture whilst there.

The Waiting Game

It’s not like anyone expects to have great internet when living at a dormitory, but you still expect it to be somewhat useful.

Well… ours isn’t: you can barely browse anything, even Wikipedia loads slowly. So I devised a workaround. “Why not get my own internet” I said to myself, not knowing what sorts of troubles I’ll be putting up with from that point onward.

So I went and got my own internet modem, supposedly a better option than the free Wi-Fi we get. Well, at least I can access any site using on my own connection, and play games to some extent. There’s a downside though: it’s not stable at all, which was honestly unexpected. One minute everything’s working fine, the other you’re struggling to load up any website.

At least I can use it at my own leisure.huawei_huawei_b310_fixed_flybox_4g_white_orange_cu_antena_l26383_0

Taking time off at Skullgames Babes

Whenever I feel like kicking back and spending some time away from the dorm, I drop by Skullgames Babes, an internet cafe, to play some games there. The prices are affordable and the mood is quite relaxed. Drinks aren’t too expensive either.  Their PCs are top notch and the staff has always been friendly. Not a bad place to spend some of your time. I’d quite recommend it if you’re into gaming in general.
